What should I wear?

Wear what makes you feel awesome. Your comfort level will shine through your portraits. I do advise against wearing all black, but if that’s your style then do it!

POLE PHOTOS

What level pole dancer do I have to be to have a photo shoot?

Any! I have worked with very beginner pole dancers, to professionals. You don’t even have to be able to climb the pole to get great, sexy, fun photos from a photo shoot. As long as you feel comfortable, then we will get great shots together! 

How many costume changes should I bring?

This is totally up to you, but I recommend at least two costumes that you love. Most dancers have enough time for two, but if you’re really cruising through poses, you may be able to get three to four costumes in! I recommend one simple solid color for your more dramatic poses, and something fun that portrays your personality. Have a great costume from a competition or performance? Bring that in also! 

Who comes up with the poses?

We both do! If you are comfortable posing yourself I will let you go for it. If you get stuck, I’ll be ready to make suggestions. If you don’t know where to begin I’m here to help! I’ll call out or demonstrate poses, we can look up photos for inspiration and work together to get you amazing images. 

A few days before your shoot, you can start collecting images you love and make a Pinterest board! If you share it with me, I’ll be sure to have it pulled up on my laptop so we can reference it during the shoot.

When do I get to see my proofs?

I’ll let you know my exact schedule on the day of our shoot, but in most cases, within 3 days of your shoot, you will be sent a link to a private gallery of your proofs.

I do request that you do not post your raw proofs online. They aren’t finished products, and revealing your photos when they are done (and without distracting background and other flaws) will be much more fun and rewarding for everyone 🙂 I do offer an option to purchase all of your proofs with background and wardrobe malfunction fixes. And since I work on a volume discount, depending on what you order, the price is flexible! 

Do you only shoot pole dancers?

No! I’m available to shoot most occasions. Family portraits, engagement photos, holiday cards, and am available for retouching and graphic design/layout services as well. Let me know what you need, and we can work together on scheduling, pricing and more!
